What Is Mylogenics?

The purpose of Mylogenics is to restore body functions so that the self-healing ability of the body can do its work. The Mylogenics methodology focuses on Prevention, Treatment and Performance Improvement and is based on a combination of the most effective elements and techniques from different treatment methods.  For example

Through specific test protocols, such as strength and length tests, I create an accurate picture of your body functioning.

Why Mylogenics?

How Does Treatment Work?

After we have discussed your injury/pain, I will perform various neurological muscle tests with my hands to test the function between the muscles and your brain, based on this I will get a clearer picture of the cause of your pain, then we activate certain muscles and I treat certain muscles.

After treatment, we test again whether the function of the muscles in question has improved, your pain has become less and you will receive specific exercises from me and we will see whether a second treatment is necessary.

FAQ

Almost all tissues in our body consist of several layers, called the fascia. These structures connect all soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, bands etc. in our body. The fascia provides a flexible skeleton.

When these tissues are optimal, they are smooth and flexible so that muscles, nerves, blood vessels and organs can function properly.

As an example, take a piece of adhesive tape whose smooth side is similar to healthy tissue and the sticky side causes adhesion. The smooth sides, like our tissue, slide easily over each other and the sticky sides create a tight tense and forced feeling during movement.

These adhesions, for example in the muscle tissue, ensure that a muscle cannot function properly. The muscle will then give complaints such as pain and stiffness. An adhesion to a nerve causes tingling, pain and numbness.

Performance ranging from for example, football, running, swimming, etc. can significantly increase due to Mylogenics treatments. By restoring and optimizing both the neurological system and the muscle functions and movements, the body can function more efficiently.

During the movements of the various protocols, treatments can feel uncomfortable if the various adhesions are getting loosened. This uncomfortable feeling is only temporary, it disappears almost immediately once movement is stopped during the specific protocol.

Many patients experience a Mylogenics treatment as a “nice pain”.

In most cases, patients experience a positive result immediately during and after the first treatment. This could be a greater range of motion, less pain, more strength or reduced tingling.

Absolutely! Most of the people I have treated had a chronic injury/pain for years that nevertheless did not pass after other methods, many of which had progressed enormously after only one or two Mylogenics treatments or their injury/pain went away after 1/2 sessions.

Absolutely not! Mylogenics is very specific because the specific techniques and tests give a clear picture very quickly about the cause of the injury/pain and are therefore not focused on their consequences, the effectiveness of the various techniques will increase enormously.

The disappearance of pain after a single treatment is no exception, even with chronic pain.

Because the Mylogenics method provides a clear picture of the actual cause of the injury/pain, specific advice can be given and, if necessary, prescribe preventive exercises that can prevent a recurrence from the injury/pain. All in all, the chance that the complaint will return or repeat itself is therefore low.
